Pink eye!

Miles got pink eye last week. And a day later I got it too! Hailey and Joey stayed white eyed and healthy thank goodness.

Pink eye is a misleading title for the illness I think. They should call it "red, itchy eye along with fever and headaches."

We got eye drops that the doctor promised would "sterilize" our eyes and make us much less contagious so I don't think we spread it.

Can you tell which eye was the infected one?

In school Miles was learning about the Great Depression. He was talking on and on about it to me and started talking about Herbert Hoover and Franklin Roosevelt. He was trying to tell me about the president known as FDR (Roosevelt) but instead he kept saying, "KFC" I couldn't figure out what he meant until he said, "You know, he was president after Hoover, everybody called him KFC". I had to explain he was actually known as FDR! (October 2017)
