For the record, Miles' cute sayings from ages 2-3

"Daddy is as tall as a snowman!"- Miles (think of the primary song "Once there was a Snowman" and it makes sense...)

Grandma J: You need to grow two or three more feet before you can go in the deep end. (at the pool)
Miles: But I already have two feet!!

"Can I get in the middle?"- Miles, walking into the room and seeing us kissing.

"I watched a movie when I was in bed with my eyes closed." -Miles trying to explain he had a dream

"Our home is at our house." - Miles

Dad: "There's 'A' mountain."
Miles: "Where'd 'B' moutain go?"

"Wipe it paper"-Miles' name for toilet paper

"Chicken Dale" -Miles' pronunciation of Chip 'n Dale

"Lemon egg" -Miles' pronunciation of lemonade

"Neighborhood" - what Miles calls Robin Hood

Grandpa H: "How are you?"
Miles: "Two!"

Mom (talking to self in kitchen): "What should we have for dinner?"
Miles (overhearing in family room): "How about cinnamon rolls and cookies!"

"My tummy's getting big, big, big like daddy's!" -Miles showing me his fully tummy after dinner.

Quotes 2016

Clay was jumping from tile to tile in our kitchen, then kind of spinning on each tile, careful to stay within the square shape of each tile. I asked, "What are you doing?" and Clay responded, "I'm square dancing!"

Clay, said every time he prays: "Help us to be like the Gospel."

Clay, said another time he prayed for each person in our family that they could "do good" in either school or work when he got to me he said: "...Please bless mom that she can go to the gym." I guess that sticks out to him!

We were walking into Wells Fargo when Paige saw a man with shoulder length hair and a beard getting into his car. I was holding Paige and she grabbed my face and turns my head toward the man. Then she says, "Mom, there's Jesus!" (November 2016)

Paige: "I look like nursery!" She said this as she looked at herself in the mirror after I got her dressed for church and had just finished doing her hair. (March 2017)

In school Miles was learning about the Great Depression. He was talking on and on about it to me and started talking about Herbert Hoover and Franklin Roosevelt. He was trying to tell me about the president known as FDR (Roosevelt) but instead he kept saying, "KFC" I couldn't figure out what he meant until he said, "You know, he was president after Hoover, everybody called him KFC". I had to explain he was actually known as FDR! (October 2017)
