Families can be together forever!: She's a toddlin'

Hailey started walking last month. At first she would only walk back and forth between Joey and me. (Sometimes we'd have to bribe her with mini marshmallows.)

Then one day we went to babytime at the library. I noticed Hailey noticing other babies---other babies that were WALKING. She watched and then she got up and walked too. Like a pro! Didn't even look back at me...

In school Miles was learning about the Great Depression. He was talking on and on about it to me and started talking about Herbert Hoover and Franklin Roosevelt. He was trying to tell me about the president known as FDR (Roosevelt) but instead he kept saying, "KFC" I couldn't figure out what he meant until he said, "You know, he was president after Hoover, everybody called him KFC". I had to explain he was actually known as FDR! (October 2017)
